T'is the season for migrations of various species and platforms, and Microsoft's timing of its newest toolkit is apt. Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit 3.2 Beta offers tools to help you assess your infrastructure and determine what it would take for your organization to migrate to new or updated technologies. If you're thinking about potentially migrating to Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2, or the latest versions of Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office, or other Microsoft technologies, take a gander at this tool.
